Paul manages the business and commercial area of the firm's practice applying over 25 years of experience in assisting his clients to achieve practical and effective outcomes.

Paul's practice covers all the issues that arise in small and medium enterprises, be it a one-person consultancy, a family business operating in the retail sector or a high-tech manufacturing company employing over a hundred staff.

Working closely with his clients Paul identifies desired outcomes and negotiates a process to achieve those goals in a timely and cost effective manner.

He assists in all stages of business development including:

• establishing a new business;
• the choice of a business model;
• the purchase or merger of a business;
• succession planning; or
• in the final sale of an enterprise.

Paul also advises on operational matters confronting most businesses:

• leasing;
• supply and distribution agreements;
• employment, termination and other HR issues; and
• where necessary in litigation for the enforcement of rights and damages arising from breach of contract.
